The Avery Quilt Along

Hello!  Today I'd like to share about a new quilt along that I'm hosting!

The Avery Quilt Along

We are going to be making the Avery quilt!  Here it is!  This is the throw size.

This pattern is the perfect scrap quilt!  You'll get to use up those small red and pink scraps you have been saving (or any other color you'd like!).  If you don't have scraps to use up, the pattern is written to use fat quarters for the pink and red portions.

Avery Quilt Along Schedule

For the quilt along, I am planning on making the throw size so I have listed out the weeks based on the throw size.  If you want to make a bigger version, just divide the number of blocks needed by the number of weeks and then you'll know how many you need to make per week.

Let's talk timing!  Here is the schedule we will be following-

Avery Quilt Along
Information Post- January 16
Now through January 31 (Before the Quilt Along Starts)- Cut the Fabric
Week 1- February 1- Make 10 chain blocks & 8 heart blocks
Week 2- February 8- Make 10 chain blocks & 8 heart blocks

I think that covers it!  Let me know if you have any questions.  If you'd like to share your work on Instagram, we will be using the hashtags- #averyquilt and #jessicadayonpatterns

I'm really looking forward to this and I hope you are too!  Thanks for sewing with me!
