Red, White, & Blue Fat Quarter bundle

Good Morning, my friends! It has been a long time since I posted on the blog but I have missed it and I want to try to get back in the habit of posting. If you didn't know, I post almost daily on YouTube these days. You can find my channel here.

We have just finished up the 2025 Scrappy Sampler and I'm now planning a few summer quilt alongs and red, white, and blue projects. I get asked so often to coordinate fabric bundles and to put together quilt kits for my patterns. So I decided to make a red, white, and blue bundle and a few kits for my newest pattern (more on that below).

Here is the bundle that I have put together. This bundle contains 30 prints- 10 red, 10 blue, and 10 white/off-white. You can find them in my shop HERE

I chose different fabrics from Moda Fabrics and Riley Blake Designs. One of the flower prints (the lower right navy background and white outlined flower) had less than all of the other bolts so I put together a second bundle that substitutes a different fabric for that flower print.

That one looks like this-

I have also listed some fat eighth bundles and a few bundles of 30- 10" squares.

Again, you can find all of these bundles in my Etsy Shop.

You can use these bundles in any pattern that uses fat quarters, fat eighths, or 10" squares. But, I wanted to give you some ideas too!

First up, my newest pattern- Starshine. The Starshine pattern comes with instructions for 3 sizes: Baby, Throw, and Twin. When I originally made this pattern, I used a white background (Moda Bella Solids in Off-White) and a variety of Ruby Star Society prints. I made the Twin Size.
Right after I made this, I thought it would be great in red, white, and blue (and also pink and white for a baby quilt that I'm still thinking on). So, I put together 3 kits for this in the throw size- one with a white background, one with a light blue Crossweave background, and one with a dark blue Crossweave background. Here are those mock ups-

Here are some more ideas that I came up with to use these red, white, and blue fabrics.  Recently I have been making no point stars in red white and blue. They are so fun and beginner friendly! Here is a mock up using this fat quarter bundle-
For this no point stars quilt, you can use the 30 fat quarters in the bundle to make 30- 12" finished blocks. In this mock up, I laid them out 5 x 6 blocks. This throw size quilt measures 60 1/2" x 72 1/2". I have a tutorial on how to make this block on my YouTube channel- HERE. There are cutting instructions in the description of the video. I'll also be doing another YouTube video on this block this coming week.

You can also make an easy 16 patch quilt with this bundle, like this one below. You can cut the fat quarters into 2 1/2" squares (or 2 1/2" strips for strip piecing) and make these 16 patch blocks. Each 16 patch block measures 8" finished. You can use any size sashing and border. In the picture below, I've used 2" finished sashing and 4" finished border. This quilt is 77 1/2" x 87 1/2".

Another pattern in my shop is called Scamper. It uses fat eighths or fat quarters (depending on how much print variation you want). Below is the queen size option.

Another pattern from my shop, that I didn't get to mock up but would look great in red, white, and blue, is Muriel.

I'm also thinking about the Original Scrappy Sampler in red, white, and blue!

I hope these ideas have sparked your creativity and that you are ready to get sewing!

Thanks for following along with me!
Jessica
