The Honey Quilt
This morning I'd like to share about the Honey Quilt!
Honey Quilt Design
I designed the Honey Quilt a few years ago. Recently though, I updated the pattern and put it in my shop. You can find it HERE.
Fabric I Used
This time around, I it made using Little Swan by Little Forest Atelier. This collection would be great for a variety of quilts! The prints are adorably cute for a baby quilt but the colors are rich and sophisticated enough to be made for an every day quilt too.
I think the Honey Quilt is a gorgeous pattern for ANY fabric that you can think of! It is so versatile!
Fun & Easy Pattern
It is a fun pattern to make. It's relatively simple project. The center of the quilt is made with only squares and the design comes to life with color and fabric placement. The quilt is edged with triangles and then framed in a simple border. If you are intimidated to work with triangles, I encourage you to make this pattern. It is a really great beginner triangle pattern and will give you the confidence to make more difficult patterns with triangles.
Quilting Design
I quilted this quilt on my BERNINA Q24 with Q-matic using a pantograph called Apricot Moon's Daisy Doodles.
