Summer 2025 Quilt Alongs

Good morning!  We have been talking about quilt along ideas on YouTube and I've been hearing- "Do them all" quite a bit. Guess what? I think it is great idea!

I've been working on schedules and I've planned out 5 quilt alongs for us to do over next bunch of months.

The first up is Scrappy Shining Stars. 

Scrappy Shining Stars- Queen size

This quilt along is meant to go at a slower pace and will last 14 weeks. The goal will be to make a few blocks each week (depending on what size quilt you want to make) and finish around Labor Day (in the US). You can purchase the Scrappy Shining Stars pattern HERE

I am going to be using scraps for this project and you can do the same if you'd like. However, the pattern is written for fat quarters so you can also use those.

The Scrappy Shining Stars  pattern has instructions for 5 sizes:

Baby: 52 1/2” x 52 1/2”

Throw: 54 1/2” x 66 1/2”

Double/Full: 78 1/2” x 90 1/2”

Queen: 90 1/2” x 102 1/2”

King: 102 1/2” x 102 1/2”

Scrappy Shining Stars Quilt Along

The second is the Starshine quilt.

The Starshine pattern has instructions for 3 sizes:

Baby: 48 1/2” x 48 1/2”

Throw: 65 1/2” x 78 1/2”
Twin Bed: 76 1/2” x 90 1/2”

The third quilt along will be for Happy Go Lucky.

The Happy Go Lucky pattern (HERE) has instructions for 1 size: Large Throw: 84 1/2” x 84 1/2”

The 4th quilt along is for the Betsy Quilt. 

Betsy is a two color quilt that uses 3 different blocks. This can be made in whatever two colors that you desire! Here are some color options-

The 5th quilt along is for the Holly Jolly Holiday Quilt. This is a sampler quilt that measures 74 1/2" x 84 1/2". For this quilt along, we will make 2 sampler blocks per week (sometimes three or multiple smaller units).
