I said it before and I'll say it again- I love Liberty Fabrics!  And, since Christmas is my favorite holiday, these fabrics were extra special for me to work with.

I made Santa's Tree Farm by Wendy Sheppard.  You can find the pattern HERE.  Wendy is a super talented designer and I love everything she comes up with!  You should take a look at all of the beautiful patterns she has designed!  You can find her website HERE.

So, I used the Liberty Fabrics A Festive Collection for the main prints in my quilt.  For the backgrounds, I used one of the prints from the Liberty collection and I added in some Lori Holt Bee Backg…

My New Book!! Season to Taste- Quilts to Warm Your Home All Year Long

I can't believe this day is finally here!  Today I can share the cover of my book with you!  I've been working on this for more than a year in secret.  A few weeks ago I was sent the cover images and was told that I could share but I wanted to wait until the book was up for preorder.  I've been checking Amazon every day and today it popped up!!Let me tell you the basics about my book.  I wrote 12 quilt patterns- 3 for each season of the year.  I think the cover is a perfect snapshot of what you'll find inside.  However, with the exception of one or two quilts, the patterns can easily be made in other fabrics and hop seasons if you so wish.  I love making seasonal quilts and I think you will too!!I have tons planned to show you once the book is released (which will be in the beginning of December but the way).  I'm planning quilt alongs, giveaways, a book blog tour, and more!  You can PREORDER NOW on Amazon - HEREThank you so much for following along with me- I love…

Riley Blake Project Tour- Fleur

Good Morning!  Today I'm sharing the project I made for the Riley Blake Designs Project Tour for Fleur by Seder Imer.   I love all of Sedef's designs and this collection is another pretty one that she created!  While, at the moment, I'd say yellow is my favorite color, I left that one out because I was making this quilt for my daughter and I chose her favorites- pinks, purples, and blues.  I snuck in a little of the greens too ;)

Here is my quilt!

This was so fun to make!  I don't have the pattern written at the moment (there are only so many hours in the day!!).  I immensely enjoyed making this and I'm so happy with how it turned out.

I used all Fleur fabrics for the top in addition to Riley Blake Confetti Cottons in Riley White.  For the backing, I used Riley Blake's minky in Peacock.  For the batting, I used my favorite- The Warm Company Warm & Plush.
I pieced and quilted this quilt on my Janome M7 Continental.  I'm rather…

Moda Bake Shop: Summer in the Country QAL

Moda Bake Shop The most recent Moda Bake Shop Quilt Along- Summer in the Country- is coming to a close.  As always, I had the most wonderful time.
You can find all of the blocks for this quilt along on the Moda Bake Shop page- HERE.
For this quilt along, I used 'Backporch' by Me and My sister Designs.  I absolutely adore this beautiful fabric!
Here are the details of the quilt I made-
I decided to do a setting different from the ones that were offered because I was looking for a specific sized quilt.  I made 9 blocks, added sashing, and then added a few borders.  It is still a good size and finishes at 64 1/2" x 64 1/2".For the nine blocks in my quilt, I made-1. Pinwheel Parade2. Moonlight
3. Hay Baler

4. Evening Star

5. Lemonade - one of the blocks I designed for the QAL

6. Summer Basket

7. Millennium
8. Summer Kites

9. Cherry Pie - the other block I designed for the QAL
This quilt was so fun to put together!
And here is a look at the quilt top!  I love it so much!
