Free Pattern: White Pumpkins Quilt

Image
Last year I released my White Pumpkins quilt pattern and now I'm re-releasing it for FREE!  I love white pumpkins.  Each fall I use white pumpkins to make pumpkin pie and I just adore them.  I usually grow them in my garden but on years when they don't cooperate, I just buy some white pumpkins at a local farm.  We roasted them and make pie.  My favorite variety is Flat White Boer Ford pumpkins.  And, although not white, I love Long Island Cheese pumpkins too.  The original recipe came from my husband's grandmother and I have modified it to be what it is now...which is the most delicious pumpkin pie ever :)  That was my inspiration for this quilt.

This quilt has been a favorite to use last fall and this fall so far.  To make the top, I used Moda Fabrics Cross Weave (the gray color) and Robert Kaufman Essex Linen (in White).  For the backing, I used Robert Kaufman Mammoth Flannel, which is the coziest flannel!!

I also make one block from the pattern and turn it into a pil…

Hi, Everyone!  Today I wanted to tell you about a new sew along that I'm hosting!

Starting today, on modabakeshop.com, I am hosting a sew along to remake the Camp Oda May quilt.  The Camp Oda May quilt is the summer quilt along that ran during the summer of 2018 on Moda Bake Shop.  It was a really fun sew along and the quilt we made at that time is a favorite of mine.  I've been wanting to make it again and now is the perfect time!

The sew along will run for 5 weeks.  Here is the schedule we will be following-
Tuesday, September 24th (today)- Round 1, Border 1
Tuesday, October 1st- Round 2, Border 2
Tuesday, October 8th- Round 3, Border 3
Tuesday, October 15th- Round 4, Border 4
Tuesday, October 22nd- Round 5, Borders 5 & 6

You can read more about the quilt along, my fabric choices, this weeks tasks, my center dresden, and much more on Moda Bake Shop- HERE.

I'll be doing a quick post every Tuesday that will link to my post on Moda Bake Shop.  Feel free to let me know…

The Quilting Company: 9 Halloween Quilt Patterns eBook- Enchanting Dresdens

Image
Hi, Everyone!  There is SO much excited things going in my quilting world over here.  Months and months of hard work and I'm only able to share a little bit at a time.  But, here is the first thing (and know that there is so much more to come, so please stay tuned)!

I have a pattern in The Quilting Company's 9 Halloween Quilt Patterns eBook!  I worked on this last year and it was meant to be in McCall's Precut Patchwork.  However, as F&W Media was bought recently (and it now Peak Media) some of the magazines were cancelled and Precut Patchwork was one of them!  I was bummed out because I thought this quilt wouldn't be published at all.  But then they decided to do an eBook.  You can find the eBook HERE.

My quilt is called Enchanting Dresdens.  I used Hallo Harvest by Basic Grey for Moda Fabrics.  This line is so fun and I really loved how it turned out in the quilt.  You can see my quilt below on the quilting company website...

The eBook is $9.99 and you get all 9 …
