Riley Blake Designs Blog Tour- Liberty Flower Show Spring

Hi, Everyone!  Today is my turn on the Riley Blake Designs Blog Tour for Liberty Flower Show Spring.

In case you didn't know, Riley Blake Designs is an official Liberty Fabrics distributor!

Liberty Flower Show Spring is printed on Liberty cotton fabric.  This fabric is so gorgeous.  I always love their mishmash of flowers and how elegantly they work together in unison.

I wanted to try something new with this gorgeous fabric and I found such a fun pattern for it!!  This pattern is by Atkinson Design called Hexie Garden.  (You can find the pattern HERE)  It was a really neat pattern to make.  The construction was unlike anything I've made before and I really enjoyed sewing it.

For the top, I used:
-Liberty Flower Show Spring (you can see this collection HERE)
-Confetti Cottons Petal Pink for the Background (SKU C120-PETALPINK)
-Confetti Cottons Riley White for the accent fabric (SKU C120-RILEYWHITE)

For the top, I used:
-Blossom on White All the Pink (SKU C730-ALLTHEPINK)

For the binding, I used:
-Liberty Flower Show Spring- Hyde Floral (SKU 04775721A)

For the batting, I used:
Warm 100 (you can see more on this batting HERE -it is one of my favorite battings)

I used my Janome Memory Craft 6700P to sew and quilt this quilt.

Here area few more pictures-

On this quilt, I also used my new labels.  I've been using labels from Border City Quilts on Etsy for over a year now but this kind is new to me.  These are satin, which makes them easy to hand stitch through.  Also, I have the date on the back of these (instead of on the front) which I really like.

I love seeing this beautiful Liberty quilt in my house!!

Talk to you soon,
