Riley Blake Designs Blog Tour- Shades of Summer

Hi, Everyone!  Today is my turn on the Riley Blake Designs Blog Tour for Shades of Summer by Heather Peterson.

I love this bright, beautiful, saturated fabric!  I chose to work with the red and yellow.

With the reds in the line and the red panel, I made a Mama's Garden quilt.  The pattern is by Sweetwater Co. and you can find it in their Etsy shop- here.

This quilt is quick and easy to put together and has such a beautiful look!

I also made a sunshine pillow!

I designed this pillow and am so happy with how it turned out!  The curves are gentle and not too difficult to sew.  There will be a pattern out soon!

For the batting in the quilt and the pillow, I used:
Warm & Plush

I used my Janome Continental M7 to piece quilt and pillow and quilt the quilt.  I hand quilted the pillow.
