Riley Blake Designs Project Tour- Give Thanks

 

Hi, Everyone!  Today is my turn on the Riley Blake Designs Project Tour for Give Thanks by Sandy Gervais.

This is such a beautiful autumn fabric collection.  I love every single print.  And, I was really excited to get to make a quilt with this.  

At the beginning of the year, I asked all of my children what kind of quilt they would like this year.  My oldest daughter said a fall quilt for her bed :)  Well, this worked out perfectly and I can't wait to wash this quilt up and put it on her bed.  

I'm going to buy some yardage of it an make matching pillow cases for her.  I think she will like that.  And, I'm thinking I should make a pumpkin throw pillow for her bed too!

This quilt was quick and fun to make!

For the backing, I used Riley Blake Designs Le Creme Swiss Dot Orange (SKU C600-60 ORANGE).

For the batting, I used The Warm Company Warm & Plush- a big time favorite of mine.

I used my Janome Continental M7 to piece quilt and pillow and quilt the quilt.  I free motion quilted a loop design.
